Floral Design for UMES Garden Club

 We were invited to teach a floral design class to the students of Union Mill Elementary School Garden Club. We had a great time with the students. They paid attention while Theresa taught the basics and they applied what they learned. They were very proud of their arrangements. There may be some future flower shop owners in the group!

February Meeting

 Jim McGlone, Environmental educator and Certified Arborist gave an informative talk on The Basics of Pruning.

 

Jenny, Theresa and Kathleen brought tasty refreshments and decorated the table beautifully in a President's Day theme.
