Parktober Fest 2025

 On Friday, October 3, nine of us met at Jennifer's house and made 20 fall themed floral arrangements.

 Parktober Fest was well attended. We sold all 20 of the arrangements that we made. Twelve of us traded off at the booth selling the arrangements and visiting with our customers.                                                 

We enjoyed the music and some of us did a little shopping and supported the other merchants that were there. 

 

September Meeting

For our September meeting we met on our new meeting day. Because we have grown in size and need a larger room we now meet on the SECOND Monday of the month. 

We had our annual Sunflower Challenge. Donna awarded prizes to the top three. She also brought her Sunflower Cupcakes! 

 

 

Green Spring Gardens July 18

 Several of us enjoyed the morning touring Green Spring Gardens. The weather was perfect and we came away with quite a few ideas for our own gardens.

 

Rainy Day Garden Tour June 27

 We didn't let a downpour stop us from touring Dan's lovely garden. He enjoyed showing us the garden that he has created over the years. He invited us to come back in the spring - on a day when it's not raining!

 When we left Dan's garden we headed to the Merrifield Garden Center Gainsville location. We spent time looking at lovely plants and had wonderful conversations with some of the staff. They were eager to talk because there weren't many customers on such a rainy day! We also enjoyed lunch at their cafe.
